Anti-Inflammatory Cherry Turmeric Green Smoothie Bliss Bowl
All the good things about life in one little bowl. Made in minutes. Healthy enough for breakfast. Sorbet-ish enough for dessert. Learn the story behind this recipe on Instagram @cheekykitchen
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1 1/2 cups frozen spinach
- 1 shot beet-turmeric juice (or 1 cup coconut water + 1 tsp turmeric powder)
- 1 banana
- water
- freeze-dried fruit for garnish (optional)
Blend cherries, spinach, beet shot and banana together in a hi-speed blender. Add just enough water to create an ice-cream-esque consistency. If desired, top with crumbled freeze-dried fruit (I purchased jackfruit, blueberries & coconut flakes from Trader Joes and lurvedddd 'em all. But especially the coconut.) Scoop, spoon and enjoy.
