It was one of those days. So much to do. Which seems to be the norm around here, just always so much to do. Kids and meals and managing a business. Trying to stay healthy. Carpooling. The Athena Morning Routine
After lots of trial and error. The THREE morning things that help me consistently wake + rock-it-like-Athena is:
Wake early & make the bed right away. That starts the day with an accomplished task.
Move that body for at least 20 minutes. Walk the ‘hood, run the block, do yoga on the deck. Whatever it is, get movin’ on the daily.

Athena Coffee
Serves 1-2 | 5 minutes from start to finish
1 cup brewed coffee, piping hot
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 scoops Bob’s Red Mill Protein Powder (chocolate or vanilla)
Combine coffee, coconut oil, and protein powder into blender. (Alternatively, you can use a small hand blender.) Blend until ingredients are well combined, and coffee appears frothy.
Pour into a mug and enjoy!
