4-Ingredient Ginger Peach Smoothie

April 22, 2016 Brooke Lark
Smoothie Bowl CK.jpg

Kick your morning off with real food and raw, natural sweetness. This 4-ingredient smoothie bowl is a perfect quick-and-simple base for all your favorite add-ins. From time to time, I'll toss in a scoop of protein powder or almond butter. The flavor is endlessly fresh. And the ginger here, wondrously, gladly and happily zingy. J'love.

5-Ingredient Ginger Peach Smoothie

Read the story behind this recipe on Instagram @cheekykitchen.

2 servings | 5 minutes

  • 3 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 avocado
  • 1" piece fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp raw & unfiltered honey (or stevia) (optional)
  • coconut water

In a hi-speed blender, puree peaches and avocado with ginger and honey (or stevia) and just enough coconut water to create a thick smoothie.

Add Protein: Blend in 1-2 scoops plant-based vanilla protein powder, 2 Tbsp hemp seeds or almond butter

Topping Options: Tastes great (and looks beautiful!) with fresh berries, sliced peaches, chia seeds or my 4-ingredient Crunchy Coconut Rawnola.
